    We are Gravity, we are the UK's biggest name
    in active entertainment. Fun is our key word, where our sites across the UK offer
    up to 30 activities from e-karting to trampoline parks, high wall climbing to
    augmented reality bowling.

    We are now recruiting for a full time Karting
    mechanic who will split their time between our brand-new gravity Max in
    Westfield Stratford, and our Gravity Max in Wandsworth. You will be equally
    splitting your time between both sites support both venues.

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Go Kart
    Mechanic (Electric) to join our team and contribute to the success of our
    operations while providing thrilling racing experiences for individuals and
    groups.

    Your typical day as a karting mechanic...

    Maintenance and Repair:

    ·
    Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our
    fleet of go-karts to ensure optimal performance and safety.

    ·
    Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues,
    addressing them promptly to minimise downtime.

    ·
    Ensuring karts look clean and presentable.

    ·
    Working with track staff to help minimise kart
    damage and maximise safety.

    Inspections:

    ·
    Conduct regular inspections of go-karts,
    identifying and addressing any potential safety concerns.

    ·
    Ensure that all go-karts meet or exceed
    industry safety standards.

    Inventory Management:

    ·
    Maintain an organised inventory of spare parts
    and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient for ongoing operations.

    ·
    Order and restock parts as needed, keeping
    track of expenditures and staying within budget.

    Customer Service:

    ·
    Interact with customers and address any
    questions or concerns regarding the karts.

    ·
    Provide assistance and support during special
    events.

    Collaboration:

    ·
    Work closely with other team members,
    including track operators and event coordinators, to ensure seamless
    coordination of activities.

    ·
    Collaborate with management to implement
    improvements in kart performance and overall customer experience.

    Qualifications

    ·
    Proven experience as a go-kart mechanic or in
    a similar role.

    ·
    Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid
    understanding of kart systems and engines.

    ·
    Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in
    the go-kart industry.

    ·
    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving
    skills.

    ·
    Ability to work independently and as part of a
    team.

    ·
    Effective communication skills, both verbal
    and written.

    ·
    Physical stamina and agility to handle the
    demands of the job.

    Desirable

    · Electric
    kart experience or hobbies in electronics.
