    Director of Communications - Blue Collar Organisation - Salary Upon Successful Application - London based

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced communications professional to serve as the Director of Communications for our high-profile organisation during a critical period of change and transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of up to 40 professionals across brand management, public relations, press relations, and communications.

    This role is pivotal in driving effective communication strategies and ensuring successful stakeholder engagement initiatives during this transformative phase.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic vision and leadership for the communications team to align with the organisation's goals and objectives during a period of change.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to address the organisation's evolving needs.
    • Lead crisis communication efforts, proactively anticipating potential challenges and developing strategies to address issues that may arise during the transformation period.
    • Work closely with the executive team to ensure a cohesive and consistent organisational response to crises.
    • Oversee a multidisciplinary team, including brand specialists, PR professionals, press relations experts, and communication strategists

    ***Similar exposure having worked for an organisation with large blue-collar workforces is essential***
