    Peace Recruitment is working alongside a well-established family-owned civil engineering contractor who is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will oversee the execution of our flagship distillery project and manage commercial and residential developments in Inverness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects while ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
    • Monitor progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress reports to track project milestones and performance.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to on-site personnel, promoting teamwork and accountability.
    • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure client satisfaction.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in civil engineering projects.
    • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
