We are recruiting for an Electrical andElectronic Engineer for our global client in the oil and gasindustry. This is a permanent role salary negotiable by experienceplus benefits based in Aberdeen. Your role will involve new productdesign to upgrade or change equipment in thefield.

Responsibilities:

• Providingengineering design solutions
• monitor productranges working for the electrical electronics and softwareengineering team.
• design input to new productsengineering support to existing product ranges assessment oftechnical queries providing solutions and liaising with internaldepartments such as procurement and production to ensure theachievement of best results
• source materialsand components create specifications proposals assemblyinstructions test procedures certifications andreports
• check detailed manufacturing drawingsand act as the technical approver of drawings and documentationgenerated within the electrical and electronic productsteam

Skills andexperience required for the Electrical and ElectronicEngineer

• Electrical/electronicengineering degree or equivalent qualification together withindustry experience
• Proven electrical /electronic design skills
• Extensive experienceof circuit design PCB layout and embedded software (MPLABST32)
• Good knowledge of electrical systems Goodknowledge of PCB design software such as Altium Designer (schematiccapture & layout)
• Skilled in generatingdesign calculations
• Knowledge of designstandards and industry guidelines
• Previousproduct design experience would be anadvantage
• Experience with PLM system forgenerating and storage of engineeringpackages
• Previous Comms Over Power equipmentdesign experience would beadvantageous
• Previous Downhole Oilfield Tooldesign would beadvantageous
