Our client are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Customer Services Administrator - Export person for their team

The role will be is a permanent position starting asap

Based in North Birmingham on public transport routes


Job spec duties:

The main focus of the role will be

  • Formal quotes to customers
  • Inputting of sales order(s) onto computer system SAP
  • Management of schedules scheduling deliveries and production
  • Administer customer crossreferences and prices.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders.
  • General problem solving for customers.
  • Liaise with Despatch/Production (as required) re problems.
  • Credit note raising
  • Reception telephone cover
  • Provide copy documents to customers re despatch notes and invoices tracking details from Despatch to customers.
  • Produce despatch notes and invoices for UK customers.
  • Check weight/size for despatch.
  • Decide on Carrier Company weight despatched.
  • Consignment notes
  • Export goods raising despatch notes and invoices understanding documentation needed for worldwide shipping and air freight
  • Check despatch standards for country(s) requirements of invoices.
  • Customs requirements
  • Excel at intermediate level and MS Word
  • SAP

What experience do you need to do this role?

  • Customer Service experience
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Manufacturing background

What qualifications are required?

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent
  • Is this role suitable for a graduate? Do they need a driving licence?
