Revolution Beauty is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst, with a specialisation in Data Visualisation to join our Data & Insights team. We are searching for someone with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional data visualization skills, and proficiency in tools such as PowerBI and SQL Server. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data sets into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

What you'll do:

Data Exploration and Analysis:

• Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide analytical support.

Data Visualization:

• Develop visually appealing and intuitive dashboards using PowerBI to communicate complex data insights effectively.
• Create interactive reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
• Design and implement compelling visualizations that enhance the understanding of key performance indicators.

SQL Proficiency:

• Utilize SQL Server to query and manipulate data, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize and streamline database queries to enhance overall data retrieval and processing efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, translating data findings into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain clear documentation of data analysis processes, ensuring reproducibility and transparency.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and tailor visualizations accordingly.
• Communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and tools.

What you' have:

• Expert proficiency in SQL.
• Expert proficiency in Excel (+ related sub-sets)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Expert proficiency with data visualization and dashboard development.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting.
• Experience working with Netsuite highly desirable
• Experience working in PowerBi, Looker, Tableau, Qlikview etc.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Flexible approach to working in a fast-moving environment
• Curiosity and an appetite for learning is essential
