Description
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2023, Full Time - 35 hours per week

We have big goals over the next few years.

We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Will you join us?

Mental Health and Productivity Pilot is a unique programme that brings together a range of diverse partners (including Mind and leading Universities across the Midlands Engine region) to provide a variety of evidence informed, cost effective and sustainable resources that aims to support good mental health at work, reduce stigma and lead to increases in productivity.

Together, we're supporting employers across the region to recognise and understand the link between mental health and productivity by galvanising employer engagement with a package of impactful resources which work towards helping employees to be well satisfied and able to thrive at work.

You'll be joining the dedicated MHPP team here at Mind, working closely alongside MHPP partners (Coventry, Derby and Lincoln Universities particularly) and with teams from across Mind to deliver our ambitions in this extended phase of the pilot until December 2023.

You'll be helping us understand and research the effectiveness of workplace mental health support, tailor it's impact and broaden our reach at a time when support is never more needed.

As an Employer Engagement Manager, you'll be leading on a key element of the pilot to date - increasing awareness of MHPP and encouraging Midlands organisations to be a part of it, supporting them through their journey to improve the health of their employees, particularly in the West Midlands (as part of a team of other regional engagement leads).

In this extension, there is also a strong emphasis on the research:

understanding organisations' baseline and follow up positions to help test the effectiveness of our support to drive impact regionally and inform national policy.

Another key part of your role will be coordinating and working closely across internal teams at Mind to help represent Mind's voice across MHPP, embedding Mind's expertise and insights in communications and workplace wellbeing, as well as identifying opportunities for people with lived experience of mental health problems to shape and influence our ambitions.
