Description

We have a vacancy within the Admissions department for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to work 37.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for pulling/ preparing patient's notes for Theatre's, Pre-operative Assessment and Laser appointments.

The role also involves filing patient's case notes to maintain a high quality records system, as well as updating the hospital's Patient Administration System accordingly.

To prepare patient notes for patients pre-operative, surgery and laser appointments

Enter accurate and up-to-date information on the Patient Administration System (PAS) system, in a timely manner

To deal with queries, in person, from clinical and non-clinical staff

To comply with all relevant Trust policies

Provide support for other clerical staff working in other teams within the Bristol Eye Hospital

To maintain and promote the health and safety of self, patients and members of staff.

Undertake any other appropriate duties, as agreed with the line-manager.
