    This role will lead a team responsible for designing and implementing insurance supervision strategies and risk frameworks.

    Reporting to a Director, the Assistant Director will analyse market data, monitor economic trends impacting the long-term insurance market, and conduct risk assessments to recommend supervisory actions.

    Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of long-term insurers, performing on-site examinations, and representing the Department at local and international forums to stay informed about industry trends.

    The ideal candidate should possess a master's degree in finance, accounting, or insurance, along with at least ten years of relevant experience, including five years in the life insurance industry or regulatory bodies.

    The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to lead and develop teams, and effective communication with stakeholders across the financial services industry and regulatory bodies.

    This role offers the opportunity for exposure to international regulatory issues, special projects, and diverse work experiences within the integrated financial services sector.

    This role attracts a base salary between $170,000 - $190,000 + Bonus + relocation package. Candidates are expected to relocate to Bermuda; however, some flexible working arrangements are available. #
