    Job Title: Science Teacher (KS3-KS4)

    Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

    Position Type: Full-time (3/4 days a week negotiable for the right candidate)

    Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering curiosity and a deep understanding of scientific concepts among our students.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
    • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and promotes independent thinking.
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the science curriculum.
    • Engage with parents/guardians to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns or queries.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
    • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 science, with a track record of helping students achieve their full potential.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
    • Commitment to promoting the school's values and ethos, and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
