    We are seeking a Relationship Manager, with experience looking after High Net Worth individuals, to help us develop and grow our Private Banking business across Yorkshire and the North East of England. The principal purpose of the role is to provide wealth management services to high net worth individuals and generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) as well as increasing share of wallet for existing clients with the goal of increasing overall portfolio revenues. The role holder will work closely alongside two Senior Relationship Managers (RMs) who will oversee the overall client relationship. The role of the Relationship Manager initially is to support the two senior RMs by ensuring that the actions identified in the joint meetings held with the senior relationship manager are fully completed in a timely manner and fed back to the clients as necessary. This is an ideal role for an individual who is looking to gain more experience in their Private Banking & Wealth Management career trajectory with the view to being able to lead client meetings independently and, pitch discussions, and deliver investment suitability reviews once comfortable with HSBC Private Bank customer journey processes.

    In this role you will:


    • Provide support to existing relationship managers whose principal purpose if to undertake a 'Hunter' role by acting as a 'Farmer' to their existing clients. Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), and also ensuring that clients are aware of and understand their level of risk.

    • Provide support to senior relationship manager in the form of attending client meetings and writing up subsequent notes and owning the actions that arise.

    • Take ownership of account openings, periodic reviews, ensuring investment reviews are booked in in a timely manner.

    • Develop relationships with Commercial Banking and Premier Wealth to help identify potential future Private Banking clients.

    • Work with the Senior Relationship Manager to ensure the clients' objectives are met through portfolio allocation, as well as collaborating with Investment Counsellors to review portfolios on a regular basis, and develop client profitability.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:


    • Prior Relationship Management and/or Investment Advisory experience within a Private Banking or Wealth Management context - essential

    • CISI/RDR Level 4 qualified is essential with the aim of becoming level 6 qualified within the first 12 months in role

    • Ability to travel to meet with clients across Yorkshire and the North East of England - essential

    • Ability to balance the demands of clients and senior level internal stakeholders simultaneously

    • Highly organised and exceptional organisational skills

    This role is based in Leeds however the role will also require travel across Yorkshire and the North East of England per client and business requirements.
