Express Recruitment are pleased to be working closely with a well-respected Local Authority who are recruiting for a Temporary Cleaning Operative to join their team on a temporary basis to support with the expansion of sites.

There are various positions available across Sheffield working both full and part-time where flexible working is accepted.


You will be responsible for all basic cleaning tasks of different areas including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, replenishing stock and polishing.

If you can work flexibly to support the demands of the organisation then this role is ideal for you.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the facility
  • Ensure restrooms are cleaned and sanitised and restocked
  • Keep selected areas neat and organised
  • Work with chemicals and various cleaning products
  • Provide an excellent standard of service

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Thorough with good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of public safety and security
  • Able to organise and manage own workload
