Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's collaborative and inclusive team in Stockport.

This full-time Manufacturing Engineer role offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annam and many excellent benefits.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support manufacturing processes to improve product quality and ease of manufacture.

The company is a trusted partner to military customers around the world and has a skilled and experienced workforce dedicated to achieving excellence in all areas of the business, from Engineering to Project Management and Business Support to Operations.

This critical role is to develop/implement improvements to manufacturing processes and to drive continuous improvement, consistency of product quality, and delivery.

During your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to:

# for repeatability, efficiency, and quality improvements
# Lead, develop, and implement quality manufacturing improvement programs across the area of responsibility
# Coordinate cross-functional team activities to optimize the cost performance of the plant through capital investment programs, optimizing operating standards and minimizing waste through the development of a continuous improvement culture
# To apply for this Manufacturing Engineer position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
# Ideally holding an HND or an Advanced/Higher Apprenticeship in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
# Educated to Bachelor level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Discipline
# Planning experience using SAP and Ideally Trained in SAP
# Structuring BOMs from Drawing to Manufacture
# A proven successful track record of manufacturing excellence and experience in a similar role within an industrial or technical environment
# It would be advantageous to have planning experience with SAP or to be trained in SAP
