£22.30 ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £17.11 ph PAYE

Description:

This role will develop new analytics products across all aspects of manufacturing.

Our Clients Analytics Developers work in partnership with the customer and Data Engineers to produce insightful analytical solutions to address business challenges withintight deadlines.


Key Performance Indicators:


  • Products delivered on time, to cost and to standards accepted by users.
  • Story point velocity (measure of efficiency).
  • No bugs or issues reported on the products.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


  • Define and translate manufacturing problems and requirements into analytics requirements or solutions inline with product owner relationship with manufacturing and taking on board their thinking.
  • Develop, implement and enhance analytic insights and products using a wide range of analytics tools and some data engineering.
  • Conceptualise, develop and manage the delivery and optimisation of analytics solutions and ensure solution meets manufacturing's needs.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicate conclusions to the business.
  • Resolve insight questions using a storytelling approach to provide manufacturing clients with detailed, actionable solutions.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

**Experience Required:

Essential**:

  • Technical expertise in a business intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau).
  • Outstanding ability to structure, analyse and interpret data.
  • Working knowledge in SQL (e.g., joins, CTEs, UDFs, stored procedures).
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Previous experience of delivering impactful, valuegenerating analysis and insight.
  • Previous experience of challenging stakeholders to determine the need from want.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written or verbal communication skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience Preferred:


  • Working knowledge in Python (or similar).
  • Previous experience and knowledge of various cloud data management platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Previous experience of architecting small to mediumsized data products and data pipelining.
  • Previous experience of delivering projects within an Agile or Scrum framework.
