LHH Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Oxford, due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a FP&A Analyst to join the FP&A team on a full-time permanent basis.


The role is offering a competitive salary between
£35,000 - £40,000 p/a dependant on skills and previous experience, this is a hybrid role where you will be required to work a minimum of 2 days in the Oxford office.


ABOUT THE ROLE
Sat within a progressive and supportive team you will perform FP&A activities as determined by the wider team members.

You'll be responsible for producing the output that supports Finance Business Partners and Divisional FDs and broader Finance in theiractivities.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Perform FP&A activities including (but not limited to) reporting, budgeting, forecasting, decision support to provide consistent, accurate and timely output and add additional commentary and insights based on specific Divisional business drivers.
  • Run and develop reports, models and approaches with the support of more senior FP&A team members using analysis and problems solving skills to support projects based on requirements.
  • Analyse financial information to ensure that information is accurate, that provisions are financially sound and correctly allocated, investigate anomalies and provide explanations on variances that have occurred against budget. Where errors are found provideinformation and analysis and to Finance Operations to correct the postings.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with the data team and help to resolve the issues, providing analysis and insight.
  • Propose improvements to finance activities, processes and procedures and work with the FP&A team to continually improve processes.

To be successful in this role you will also need:


Essential:

  • To be studying towards accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) study support will be provided
  • Experience within a finance environment
  • The initiative and ability to successfully implement new ideas, with drive to push through
  • To be able to clearly communicate compelling messages verbal and written
  • To be committed to continual personal professional development
  • Experience of using Excel with the aptitude to develop within this area

Desirable:

  • Experience within a commercial finance environment
  • Power BI experience and/or knowledge
  • Experience of problem solving and analysis techniques to define problems
