Cylindrical Grinder (Weekends)

Location:
Newbury, West Berkshire

Salary:
Up to £16.50p/h + 25% Shift uplift (£ £21)

Hours:
Friday to Sunday: 6am to 6:30pm

Job Type:
Permanent

An exceptionally busy manufacturing business in West Berkshire is seeking an additional Cylindrical Grinder due to rapid growth.

The responsibilities of a Cylindrical Grinder:

Setting and operating a variety of Studer Grinders
Set, operate and edit CNC programmes
Performing selfinspection using handheld inspection tools (verniers, calipers, micrometers etc)

The profile of a successful Cylindrical Grinder:

Used to machining at tight tolerances to produce either aerospace or motorsport quality components
Familiar with inspection tools and techniques
At least 3 years of experience with similar cnc grinding machinery
Apprenticeship trained in a related field (desirable)
