    THE COMPANY:

    Our client is a multinational corporate bank with offices across the globe. They are looking for a Credit Analyst on a permanent, full time basis in London.

    THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assess business proposals submitted from Financial Institutions department and write credit reports in respect of the business proposals
    • Attend the Bank's Credit Committee, present a summary of key credit considerations to the Committee and address queries from Committee members
    • Regularly monitor the risk profile of borrowers for an allocated portfolio as well as industry risks for those specific industries and client segments allocated
    • Actively participate in annual or ad-hoc reviews of internal Risk Appetite for those allocated industries and client segments together with front office and relevant internal stakeholders
    • Assist in current risk projects as guided by the Team Leader
    • Provide help with preparing statistics reports relating to the Bank's businesses, portfolios and sectors
    • Ensure the compliance with internal procedures and policies issued both locally and by Head Office

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Proven experience in managing FIs credits in developed and emerging markets across Europe, Middle East and Africa and in being subject expert on banking regulations
    • Solid experience in managing FI counterparties including commercial, universal and investment banks as well as multilateral development institutions. Exposure gained on select Non-Bank FI segments such as non-life insurers, private equity fund finance, central counterparty clearing houses (CCPs) and broker-dealers would be an advantage
    • Proficient ability to use external providers such as S&P, Moody's, Preqin and Bloomberg for accessing relevant research
    • Demonstrated financial and modelling skills
