We are seeking to appoint a Design Technology Technician to provide technical and administrative support for the Design Technology Subject Learning Leader, working in a small friendly team
The Design Technology Technician department is a very popular department with good take-up for GCSE courses. The department is well resourced with modern and traditional equipment. There are 3D printers, a CAD suite, large laser cutter, metal work room, wood work room, food tech room and a dedicated staff office. This role will appeal to someone who is organised, a great team player wanting to support students and staff in the effective and efficient running of the department. Training will be offered for the right candidate. It will be crucial to have the ability to use and maintain tools and equipment. A First Aid Qualification and DATA qualification will be required to support the role.
