Senior IT Engineer

Salary:
£35,000 - £40, k Training Package + Private Healthcare + Flexible Working + Vendor Certifications
I am looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join an established IT company based in Bridgend, Wales.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects, helping to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure meets the needs of the business, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting across all IT systems.
  • Manage and maintain IT systems, including monitoring system performance and ensuring security.
  • Get involved with technical projects, including planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to staff and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Technical Skills Required:


  • Solid experience working with Windows Server environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc).
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, etc).
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
