    Description

    VNA Education have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Science teacher, this role would be an ideal opportunity for both experienced practitioners and ECTs.

    We are looking for someone who can inspire, motivate and challenge all students to develop their knowledge and skills whilst engendering a love of the subject.


    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS QTLS)
    • Experience Teaching Science at KS3 and 4
    • Right to work in the UK.
    • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
    • Have up-to-date safeguarding training.
    • A positive mindset with a passion for teaching and learning
    • Able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupils.
    • Demonstrate strong classroom management.
    • Committed to raising attainment.
    • Committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people.
    • Develop and deliver engaging science lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
    • Use a variety of teaching strategies to actively engage students in learning.

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in science or related field.
    • Strong subject knowledge across various scientific topics and concepts.
    • Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
