Description

The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting Healthcare Supply Solutions Radiotherapy & Urology product range to healthcare professionals in Hospitals and Private Clinics.

You will utilise a range of face to face and remote engagement tools to work with healthcare professionals, providing tailored support and helping them make important decisions which will ultimately improve patients' lives living with Cancer.

As a small company we work directly with our healthcare partners in the hospital and private departments.

Our strong product portfolio, excellent team and a deep understanding of our customer's needs have meant we have been very successful.

We have a strong product portfolio pipeline of future products with the determination to continue to be successful.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be coming into the sales team at an opportune time to play your part in reshaping the healthcare landscape.

As a young business and being in a position of rapid growth the role has the potential to grow into a Director role for the right person.


Responsibilities

  • Taking a lead in the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio on your territory, you will work closely with partners and the Managing Director to achieve the sales targets. The south west, up to London is the current territory.
  • Managing and coordinating procurements, utilising selfdiscipline and a creative approach to ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. This will involve engagement with all levels of the key decision making team, including senior management
  • Identifying market development and changes in NHS landscape on your territory (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes) to maximise opportunities/minimise threats
  • Developing innovative strategies to retain existing Healthcare Supply Solutions sites and acquire new sites
  • 50% of time is spent at home, with 50% at hospital/customer sites. Overnight stays are required to fulfil the role

Qualifications


Educated to BSc (Hons) /BA Degree or equivalent in a life science or with related experiences such as a Urology or Radiotherapy background and preferably with previous experience of field sales/or knowledge of Radiotherapy & Urology Sales, you will be skilled in defining customer needs and building strong and effective relationships.

Ideally, have knowledge of best practices in Radiotherapy / Urology and cancer pathways.


In order to be effective in this role you will need to be resilient, tenacious and both adaptable and flexible to work within a changing environment.

You have the blend of discipline to follow best practice and creativity to re-define best practice. You will understand barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to drive positive sales outcomes.


Self-motivated, focused and methodical, with the ability to work alone, yet readily communicate and share knowledge to the team, you will have the ability to sell with high credibility and be able to turn strategy into actionable implementation.

You will drive commercial excellence in your territory by using the latest digital sales engagement tools.

Salary range is £30k to £40k depending on experience plus a £400 per month car allowance. Commission is uncapped giving significant earning potential.
