Management Accountant

London based Professional Services Firm

2 Days in office / 3 days from home

£60K + 10% bonus + 10% pension + benefits
Absolute are partnered with a global professional services firm, in their search for a Management Accountant.

The business has grown considerably over the last several years, expanding into 6 countries; offering specialist consultancy work for their clients.

The next 3 years will prove an exciting challenge as they continue with ambitious growth plans, opening up the opportunity for this role to progress from Management Accountant to a more senior Finance Manager position.

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Group Financial Controller working in a finance team of 5, taking a lead on month-end reporting, production of management accounts and supporting with budgeting and forecasting work across the group.

Key duties include;:


  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts pack for US/UK/Middle east entities, including group consolidation
  • Improving financial systems, processes and internal controls, further developing the management reporting packs and KPI reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting, producing reports to aid cashflow management
  • Assisting in the preparation of the groups annual budget, forecasts and business plans
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and external audit requirements
  • Profitability analysis on each region, with KPI analysis on customers and consultants within the business
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Finalist level
  • Hands on accounts production experience, either management accounting in industry or statutory accounting in practice
  • Experienced with multijurisdictions or multicurrency would be an advantage
  • Professional services industry experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience working with or in an SME
  • Good knowledge of fee earners and time billing revenue would be an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills

Package and benefits;:

- £55,000 - £60,000 salary

  • 10% annual bonus
