Class 1 Night Drivers - Washington, United Kingdom - Blue Arrow

Description

At Blue Arrow we are looking for reliable and proficient HGV Class 1 Drivers to navigate from South Tyneside to Midlands Hubs for our prestigious client.

This role is generally for summer holiday support however our client will have work for the rest of this year.

Weekly shift amounts will fluctuate due to the nature of our clients business so flexibility to work between 1-6 shifts from Monday to Sunday would be beneficial.

The work is generally straight trunk runs with occasional collections on the way to the Hubs.

Peak pay rates are as follows:
Monday - Friday: £17.20ph and £23.44ph OT after 8 hours


Saturday:
£21.89ph all hours


Sunday:
£23.44ph all hours

Start times vary from 13:45 to 19:30.

Rates will increase after 12 weeks service.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a LGV Category C+E Driver you will:

• Complete pre departure vehicle checks
• Transport goods between planned sites and drops
• Complete paperwork and follow compliance
• Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

• HGV Class 1 entitlement
• CPC
• Digi tacho card
• 1+ Year experience

As well as having 1 year experience you must be able to demonstrate on your tacho that you have been driving regular within the last 12 months.

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on a licence.
