I have a fantastic new opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic finance professional to lead the finance team of a unique and passionate housing association

Robertson Bell is pleased to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation based in Central London who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Responsible for a team of two, this broad role will be hands-on in boththe financial and management accounting for the small organisation.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

Lead on the production of management accounts, moving these quarterly reports to monthly, and work to provide valuable commentary on variance analysis.
Ownership of preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Responsible for the production of annual statutory accounts and being the key point of contact for auditors, providing schedules and making appropriate adjustments.
Line management of two direct reports who are responsible for the daytoday transactional processing and financial reporting, conducting monthly 11's and identifying and providing relevant training and mentoring.
Lead on the annual budget setting process, liaising closely with budget holders to understand financial requirements, and challenging any data as needed.

This an exciting opportunity for a hands-on financial professional to lead a close-knit collaborative finance team.

You will play a leading role in the organisation's ambitious strategy and implement valuable process improvements to the financial reportingstandards.

A chartered accountant qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
Ideally experience in the social housing sector.
A firstclass communicator with an excellent ability to build strong working relationships.
