We are looking for a self-motivated and organised individual to join us as Customer Accounts Officer in our team in Sittingbourne.
What you'll be doingReporting to the Customer Accounts Team Manager, you will help to deliver a high-quality arrears collection service for Southern Housing residents, former residents, and homeowners. This includes maximising revenue collection through prompt and consistent arrears management and debt recovery. The role also involves contributing to our strategic objectives by providing excellent customer service in every customer contact, achieving team and individual targets and balancing our belief that rent should be paid to sustain tenancies.What you'll need

• Ability to build and maintain specialist knowledge for effective arrears management.
• Good communication skills, including a strong telephone presence
• Drive to achieve wide ranging KPIs and provide a first-class service
• Excellent customer service and complaint handling skills
• Self motivation and the ability to organise and prioritise high volume workloads
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
