Computer literate, knowledge of CargoWise 1 is useful
Good network and strong presence in the market
Must have own car/vehicle and full UK driver's licence – business milage paid
Full valid UK passport as travel may be required
Develop short and long-term strategies aligned with overall business goals.
Implement sales strategies in line with business unit targets.
Ensure compliance with Global Sales initiatives through accurate data entry in the corporate sales system.
Provide insights to improve sales performance, and customer retention, and identify growth opportunities.
Support Office Manager on product development initiatives, including strategy, launching, and marketing of existing and new services.
Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and pricing indications in the local market.
Collaborate with the Group Network to strengthen interoffice sales and business development.
The role may further include international travel where/when needed to close a client
Review all SOPs/SIs with Product Business Units to ensure adherence to customer commitments
Provide regular performance reports to the Office Manager on sales plans vs actual results
A reasonable minor entertainment allowance would be available, which is required to be liquidated every week
Visits to Edinburgh or Glasgow could be covered by flight or car – whichever is most cost effective
