About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a primary school in the Derby area. You will work in a lovely year 1 class alongside a very experienced teacher. This is for a general teaching assistant who has excellent knowledge of the KS1 framework.

  • Being positive and engaging with pupils
  • Have excellent KS1 Knowledge
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to build great relationships with staff and parents.
  • You must have a real passion for working with children and help keep standards high.

Interview process

Step 1
Interview with a dedicated consultant to talk through the role.


Step 2
Have a meeting with the school Head Teacher and Key stage lead to talk through expectations and responsibilities. Including a walk around the school.


Step 3


You will get the opportunity to work at the school for a day to get a feel for the school and the class you will work in come January.
