    Job Description

    We have two new Apprentice Administrator opportunities at our Port of Tilbury, which will sit as part of our busy UKPH 47 Berth asset. This is an 18 month programme, where you will become multi-skilled within our busy administration team, whilst also working towards your Business Administrator Apprentice Level 3 qualification. Not only will you receive excellent on the job training across all aspects of admin including providing documentation, writing reports and computer literacy, but you will also develop strong customer service skills and work with multiple people across the business.

    By the end of the programme, you will emerge as a fully-fledged administrator, ready to launch your career in this dynamic industry. Join us and kick-start your path to success

    We have 2 opportunities to join this dynamic team, which will both start in August 2024. Please note that we require all candidates to be a minimum of 18 years of age before the start date.

    About The Role

    What you will learn:

    As an Apprentice Administrator, you will gain a thorough understanding of the day to day warehouse administration, gaining an in-depth understanding of what goes on behind the scenes including record-keeping, documentation, reporting, our IT systems and customer interactions via phone and email. You'll gain insights into different aspects of the asset, by the end of the programme, you'll emerge as a fully trained Administrator ready to excel in your career.

    What are we looking for?

    • GCSE in Maths & English at Grace C/4 or Functional Skill in Level 2
    • Individuals who are able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the work that we do at the port, and are looking to develop a strong foundation to your career
    • We do require all individuals who work at our port to be a minimum 18 years of age (by Aug 2024)
    • Full UK working rights
    • UK driving licence preferred
