    *Company Profile: The world's largest manufacturer of Injection Moulded products and their family of brands who develop safe, sustainable, and efficient solutions through a range of engineered and innovative products for plumbing and heating, smart homes, and specialist industries around the world, are now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer within Injection Moulding to join their team in West Drayton.

    *Job Overview: As the successful Injection Mould Manufacturing Engineer, your main function will be to provide Engineering support to ensure health & safety, quality, efficiency, and repeatability of processes on current and new equipment.

    *Key Responsibilities:
    • Identify unsafe practices, escalate immediately and propose solutions.
    • Verify that manufacturing processes are fit for purpose by achieving quality and performance targets and ensuring that the there are no health and safety issues.
    • Conduct risk assessments where required.
    • Work with Quality Engineers to verify the effectiveness of quality control systems.
    • Develop operating instructions and troubleshooting guides for manufacturing processes/equipment.
    • Monitor manufacturing processes to identifying and justifying improvements.
    • Investigate breakdowns and propose future preventive actions.
    • Provide training and guidance to colleagues for existing and new equipment.
    • Ensure that root causes are identified to implement robust corrective actions.
    • Participate in process improvement teams to resolve issues as required.
    • Keep up to date with specifications, technology, and manufacturing processes.
    • Attend training courses and preferably participate in a Continuing Professional Development programme affiliated to a professional body and attain recognition yourself.
    • To comply with all current work instructions operable within the organisation.
    • To comply fully with all current Health & Safety regulations in operation within the Company whilst carrying out your duties.
    • To carry out any reasonable task which falls within your capabilities.
    *Skills &

    Experience:

    • Extensive manufacturing experience with injection moulding and assembly equipment
    • Evidence of implementing new processes and equipment in addition to continuous improvement within a fast-paced operations environment.
    • 4+ years of engineering experience.
    • Assembly and moulding equipment experience desired.
    • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of HSE processes and standards.
    • IEE 17th or 18th Edition desired.
    *Hours of Work: * 40 hours per week

    • 7 am to 3.30 pm (Monday to Friday)

    Job Types:
    Full-time, Permanent


    Pay:
    £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
