The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications with a dotted line into the Pre-Construction Director, this role will be responsible for leading and coordinating professionally written tender submissions that clearly articulate our brand values and business capabilities.

Working within a small and agile marketing team, we're looking for a self-starter who can take the lead on all things content, including copy for our bids and assist in marketing activities and internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the preconstruction team to create winning tender submissions
Brand tone of voice guardian and proofreader to ensure consistently professional and compelling communications
Assisting in the creation and delivery of copy for all internal and external initiatives, from campaigns to case studies
Conceptualise written content creation focusing on bid writing but with the ability to get creative with company initiatives, case studies, awards submissions, website and intranet content and social media activities.

What we are looking for:

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a critical eye for detail
A passionate storyteller with an interest in bid writing and all aspects of marketing communications
Previous experience working with InDesign
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member
Ability to prioritise workloads with multiple ongoing projects
Experience in taking technical information and transforming it for a wider audience
You should be highly confident in the use of Microsoft Office, have demonstrable writing skills and the experience in generating compelling proposal content
Possibly a higher education qualification in English or another similar academic background, although proven experience is just as important

Salary:
£25,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
