    Multi Skilled - Maintenance Engineer (Field Service)
    Days - Monday to Friday

    We are looking for a motivated mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field.

    Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Leader, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running.

    You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

    With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

    To be an integral part of the APC team of technicians, ensuring product quality is achieved, including compliance with our internal procedures, along with local authorities and government agencies (DEFRA, FEMAS, FSSC).

    Respond to complaints received from suppliers & follow up on any internal issues, or concerns, communicating the outcome to the business.

    Ensure thorough investigation and corrective actions are conducted at each site for all complaints and reported to the Senior Blood Technician.

    To attend quality meetings as and when required with both the Senior Blood Technician, APC Operations Manager and Quality Team.

    To carry our risk assessments for engineering tasks and duties at each site.
    Assist with written Risk Assessment and Safe working Procedures relevant to each site under your remit.
    To carry our preventive maintenance tasks, to schedules and frequencies scheduled in the SLA.

    To attend training as required by the company, whilst working the hours to fulfil the full requirements of the role.

    Representing the company professionally, ensuring all health & safety procedures and abattoir sites rules are correctly adopted.
    Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Management Team.
    Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
    Have a good understanding of TIG welding techniques and practices.
    Able to carry out the fabrication and installation process.
    Previous mechanical / engineering experience within a continuous process / manufacturing environment.
