Longstanding professional services firm with a strong presence in Norwich is looking to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a newly created role with potential to progress to Director in the future. Initially the role will be split working in Norwich andtheir offices in Suffolk.

Your main duties are as follows:

  • Produce monthly management accounts.
  • Produce and update quarterly cash flow projections.
  • Produce detailed weekly cash flow forecast for next 12 weeks.
  • Managing day to day running of accounts department
  • Attend regular management meetings to discuss quarterly performance and targets.
  • Liaise with accounts software provider to ensure updates to system have a positive impact on firm.
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns.
  • Manage payroll
  • Ensure the company pension is compliant with the Pensions Regulator and cover the reauto enrolment process.
  • Complete year end accounts liaising with auditors.
  • Involvement of running of business with partners making decisions on staffing, marketing, IT requirements, outsourcing of functions.
  • Regulatory role ensuring firm is compliant with our regulator rules around Money laundering.


You will be either qualified ACA, ACCA or qualified by experience with relevant experience working for a professional services company.

Strong regulatory knowledge would highly advantageous.

This role would suite someone either looking to move to the nextstep as Finance Manager or an experienced FM looking to progress to FD.
