Due to continued success the business have created this fantastic new opportunity as a Bid Manager for an enthusiastic and driven Bid Manager or experienced Bid Writer / Tender Writer looking for their next step up to lead, champion, develop, manage andmaintain the Groups bid and tender pipeline process.

**A brief insight in to what you'll be doing as Bid Manager: - **- Responsibilities will include developing programme management office techniques where they do not exist to run bids and tenders, implementing good project management disciplines.

  • Managing the bid process from start to end, including owning the actual bid, authoring, compliance checking, submitting and where appropriate, mobilising a successful award and transitioning a new contract into the business as usual teams.
  • Provide assurance to the business and board that bids and tenders are managed in the most efficient and effective way to ensure they can be supported to deliver the appropriate risk and reward to the company and successfully win bids tendered for.
**Some benefits you'll get as a Bid Manager: - **- Hybrid working to support a positive work-life balance - You'll be based in the North West of England with regular time spent on site, around 1 or 2 days per week at either their East Lancashire office or Manchester Airport office.

  • Working Monday
  • Friday 9am 5pm
- £45k - £50k basic dependant on skills and experience.

  • Proven track record in writing, managing and delivering large scale, complex bids, tenders, projects and concurrent, smaller projects, including overseas.
  • Proven ability in delivering winning product or services opportunities ideally from the rail industry or alternatively having done so within travel / tourism / transport / aviation or public sector.
  • As mentioned above we are also keen to hear from individuals that are currently a Tender Writer / Bid Writer looking for their next career opportunity looking to get involved in, and exposure to the travel solutions commercial arena.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong stakeholder manager, team worker, people manager and communicator.
  • Conversant within competitive marketplaces.
