The role

The difference our new MT Driver/MT Administrator will make
As a MT Driver/MT Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary undertaking administrative duties to support in the day to day running of the

Transport Section


Day to day, you'll be responsible for the administration and booking of fleet/hire vehicles for the customer using the Phoenix Management System.

Ensuring compliance with JSP800 and the SRD, liaise with internal and external agencies as required, assist with the arrangements for vehicle servicing and MOTs as necessary.

Complete all required transport/travel documentation as required. Ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with the SD and Authority Regulations and undertake all other minor administrative tasks associated with the operation, such as managing notice boards, escorting visitors, organising meetings etc

Essential experience

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Good knowledge of general office administrative processes and activities.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Cat B Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Knowledge of MoD Motor Transport and Travel Regulations.
  • Knowledge of Military Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of the military environment.
  • D1 Driving Licence
  • Obtain or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance
