The Planning Services has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible and diligent person to join its Planning Administration Support team in the delivery of development planning.


Huntingdonshire has the fortune to have a highly, skilled, dynamic and flexible Planning Service and this post offers a unique opportunity for a high-calibre, experienced Technical Support Officer to take the next step, by helping to manage a fast-moving part of the Planning Service.


This role requires someone who is passionate about making a difference and who can help shape the organisation's approach to Planning.

The job will involve providing advice on the Town and Country General Permitted Development Order 2015.

Scrutinising drawings, investigating site histories and plans, dealing with complainants and FOIs, making reasoned assessments and communicating decisions to the parties concerned.

Also helping with collating performance data and the general support of the Administration Support Team.
