Agricultural Underwriter (Remote Worker)**Victor and its businesses operate as Managing General Agency (MGA), offering a wide range of property, liability, motor and specialty insurance products in the UK.

This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious individual with an agricultural underwriting background seeking an opportunity to join a market leading MGA.


What can you expect?

  • Agricultural underwriter using digital platforms to manage day to day trading and products
  • Working within the Agricultural team alongside Farm Combined and Motor Underwriters to underwrite UK based Agricultural risks
  • Opportunity to have input with product development
  • Liaise with brokers and colleagues to increase profitable relationships
  • Issues insurance policies by calculating premium rates as well as negotiating insurance terms and conditions with the brokers

We will count on you to:

  • Identify opportunities to offer solutions to existing client/broker (in the UK) accounts by evaluating applicant situation and circumstances and determining insurance risk.
  • Review and analyse submissions without assistance.
  • Work within your delegated underwriting authority to underwrite both new and existing business.
  • Communicate effectively with senior members of staff as well as Assistant Underwriters.
  • Work within Victor's agreed Service Level Agreements

What you need to have:


  • Agricultural Underwriting Experience from an Insurance background
  • Experience using digital trading platforms
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
