- Involvement in recipe development, product sign off and product scale up
- Using internal recipe management systems to create recipes in line with customer briefs
- Ensuring customer samples and paperwork are delivered on time
- Preparing customer presentations and attending meetings
- Using market research to monitor market developments
- Focusing on both existing product development and all stages of new product development
- Working with and alongside multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- A degree within a foodrelated discipline alongside NPD experience within the industry
- A demonstrable interest in New Product Development
- Experience working with sauces, soups and Ready Meal categories would also be advantageous
- You will be solutions driven with the ability to make recommendations for improvement
- Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills
- Selfmotivated, confident, able to work on your own initiative
- A good sense of humour, a flexible approach and the desire to work in a fun but extremely challenging environment
- Salary up to £30,000.

We're looking for a skilled and solutions driven NPD Technologist to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company, and play a key role a part of the New Product Development team with involvement in recipe development, product sign off and product scale up.
This is an interesting and busy role, as well as a fantastic chance to work as part of a team of motivated, creative and tenacious colleagues managing all aspects of a fast-moving business.
