A reputable, long serving insurance brokerage, with 40 years in the industry are looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler/Senior to their current team.

due to a long standing member of staff retiring at the end of 2023, they are seekingan effective experienced Broker to step into these valuable shoes.

This role is in the Commercial Cross Class department covering a broad range of covers for clients across many industry sectors.

As an experienced Account Handler you will be in a position to manage your own book of clients clients, supporting the Account Executives/Directorsin the servicing of these accounts, to include the occasional visit

You will be expected to handle all enquiries from New Business, providing competitive quotations from your insurance panel as well as existing Client enquiries including MTAs & Renewals.

To be considered you will have proven experience of 5 years+ dealing with Commercial Lines insurance covers, ideally within a broking environment, working with SME to Mid Corporate Clients with premium spend from £10,000 +, Although a strong Underwriter seekinga transition into Broking maybe considered
Strong Communications and organisational skills are important with the ability to be able to assist in developing further business from up selling/cross selling where applicable
