    Position:
    Team Leader for Residential Childcare Home


    Location:
    Cannock


    Contract:
    Permanent


    Salary:
    Circa £35,600.00 this includes sleep in allowance (£70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month)

    Shift Pattern:
    Two consecutive days on followed by four days off


    Are you a dedicated and experienced individual looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking a passionate Team Leader to join our residential childcare home.

    We specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of support staff.
    Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people under your care.
    Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
    Promote a nurturing and supportive environment within the residential home.
    Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
    Act as a positive role model and mentor to staff members.


    Requirements:
    Experience working within residential childcare settings.
    Hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
    Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
    Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
    A valid full driver's license is essential.
