    We have a unique opportunity for a Clinical Lead within the Early Days in Custody team at HMP Thameside. As the Clinical Lead, you will use your leadership and management skills to ensure patients arriving to site have access to healthcare services and receive an integrated and co-ordinated assessment prior to patients' handover to our colleagues in the Planned Care Team.

    HM Prison Thameside is a local category B resettlement prison in the Thamesmead area of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, South-East London. HMP Thameside is London's only private prison and can currently hold 1232 convicted and remand male prisoners.

    This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday.

    You will receive an annual salary up to £57,500 per annum - depending on experience.

    What you'll be doing

    As the Clinical Lead, you will provide visible leadership, be accountable for the quality and assurance agenda, continually review care and identify areas of learning with your team. Working with the other clinical leads, you will ensure all team members from Early days, Planned Care and Unplanned Care teams are well supported through regular clinical and management supervision.

    What we'll look for in you

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
    • Have significant post registration experience and achievement in clinical primary care practice
    • Have experience managing teams within regulated environments such as CQC
