The MDT team within Cancer Services is on the lookout for an MDT Tracker to join their growing service.

You will be providing 'behind the scenes' support to patients who have been referred to the hospital to exclude a diagnosis of cancer and will assist in improving the pathways of suspected and diagnosed cancer patients.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, supporting MDT Coordinators and administrative duties to help guide the patient through the CWT pathway in line with national targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with staff at all levels associated with multi-disciplinary team working.

You will need to be able to work well as part of a larger team as well as have the ability to work autonomously and be able to multi-task.

You should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and be able to manage changing priorities as they arise, in a calm and professional manner to ensure the smooth running and efficient service.

Our Organisation

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Epping.

Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
