Description

Having worked as a Product Support Engineer within the manufacturing/ engineering industry you will have a good understanding of how to handle technical requests filed by end users.

Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving errors you will log and tryto solve the issues where possible. You will also have the opportunity to assist engineers by contributing to product development and improving processes.


Start:
Late February / March 2023


Location:
Ely, Cambridgeshire - due to the location you will need to drive or live in Ely


Salary:
£Negotiable


Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Duties:


  • Answer technical questions and analyse available data to find the root cause of the issue
  • Share customer feedback to drive the development of future products
  • Developing and maintain a technical knowledgebase
  • Suggest overall product improvements, such as features that customers want

NOTE:
Occasional visits to customer's sites in Europe and beyond may also be a possibility


Knowledge and Experience Required:


  • Problemsolving skills
  • Technical expertise & interest in science, engineering, electronics, or computer science
  • Enthusiastic, with good communication skills
  • Desire to produce work to a high standard of quality
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied nature of work and workload
  • Ability to multitask
