    This role will focus on:

    The main role for thecleanroom cleaner is to be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness andsanitation of ISO Class 7 cleanroomfacilities.

    The cleanroom cleaner plays acrucial role in maintaining the integrity of the cleanroom environment andupholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in accordance with theCompanies Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Maintain the safety, cleanlinessand integrity of the Tubing cleanroom areas, operating under agreed clean roomprocedures. Ensuring compliance to cGMP guidelines in all processes.
  • Encourage a culture within thedepartment that is consistent with the businesses core values of safety,collaboration, customer focus, excellence, respect and integrity
  • Be responsible for completing allcleaning requirements in compliance with official documents such as riskassessments, W-M policies, SOP's, tc., as part of our ISO 9001 QA system.
  • Update and maintain cleaning records forall cleaning activities in accordance with relevant SOP's and to ensurecleaning traceability.
  • To adhere to the strict hygieneprocedures and use all the required PPE as per procedure to minimise the riskof product contamination.
  • To take responsibility and assist asnecessary in the transfer of production and cleaning consumables into thecleanrooms as defined in SOP's.
  • Support the drive for continuousimprovement within the Tubing extrusion areas. Including OEE, Gem projects,bright ideas, 5S, BBS, EH&S, stock control, layouts and other improvements.
  • Maintain the rotation of cleaningmaterial stocks in accordance with laid down procedures, replenishing the cleanroom stock as necessary, following the material transfer procedures at alltimes.
  • Take responsibility to manage allproduction and cleaning materials and consumables stock to ensure sufficientquantities are always available. Regularly audit stock levels and action asrequired.
  • Clean and maintain the cleanroom fabric,equipment and process machinery to the necessary standards, liaising with theTeam Leaders to ensure cleaning is undertaken around production requirements.
  • Ensure all cleaning materials aresuitably stored in appropriate cabinets taking account of FIFO.
  • Take ownership for the MSDS / COSHHrequirements of all cleaning materials
  • Additional tasks associated with TubingProduction and Cleaning may be expected to be added to this role.
  • To be successful in this role, youwill need:
  • Previousexperience of undertaking cleaning duties essential.
  • Previous experience of working in a cleanroomenvironment or commercial cleaning area desirable.
  • Working within a culture of continuous improvement forboth production processes and Health & Safety.
  • Attention to detail filling in SOP paperwork etc
  • Basic IT skills.
