About Our Client:

Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a established Manufacturing and Professional Services organisation in Halifax.

The market leading organisation have a brand new permanent Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant opportunity available to join there finance team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller & Managing Director, this position is salaried up to £34,000.

As Bookkeeper reporting into the Managing Director, you will be successfully responsible for supporting the end to end finance function with key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, payment runs, bank reconciliations and ownership the ledger etc.

Alongside this will be liaising with the wider finance and non-financial business from a finance perspective including Head of departments such as Marketing & Sales.

The Successful Applicant:

Open to anyone qualified by experience
Have previous experience of balance sheet reconciliations, Profit & Loss, VAT returns, accruals, cash flow or prepayments is advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with Microsoft as well as a finance software such as SAGE for example
Can commit to 5 days on site

What's on Offer:

- £28,000-£34,000 per annum
