    Depot Investment Programme Analyst

    Location: Reading/Islip

    Reports to: Depot Investment Programme Manager

    The Depot Investment Programme is international in its nature and as such will require periods of international travel at key points in each of the project/programme lifecycle. This is a crucial role to help develop and maintain the effective functioning of the Depot Investment Programme Office. The primary responsibility will be to monitor progress of the projects within the programme, maintaining overall programme plan, risk management and regular reporting.

    What You'll Do

    Working with the Programme Manager develop and maintain a robust programme plan for all Depot Investment projects and activities ensuring critical path, dependencies, assumptions and risks are clearly articulated and visible to the relevant stakeholder groups.

    Develop and maintain PMO resources and artefacts to ensure appropriate controls are in place across the project.

    Provide Quality assurance through conducting regular reviews, working with the selected Independent Programme Assurance team to ensure programme risks and issues are clearly articulated, with mitigations clearly understood and with agreed owners and timelines.

    Manage programme and project level meeting structure ensuring there is regular cadence with documented actions and ownership.

    Control the programme change management process to ensure there are clear processes to handle changes to scope/funding/governance of the programme

    Work with the Supply Chain Finance team to ensure timely & accurate financial reporting and forecasting is in place.

    Collaborate with the Transformation team to ensure external dependencies and assumptions are clearly tracked and monitored throughout the life span of the programme.

    Build & maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external from a wide range of functions.

    Project Management Qualification (Prince 2 or similar)

    Experience of working in large programmes and familiar with project management methodologies and best practices

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner

    Relationship builder, both internally and externally with strong influencing skills

    Detail orientated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

    Comfortable with reviewing large data sets to support validating decisions and assumptions

    Have experience of working in a supply chain project environment (ideally internationally)

    Proficient in project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Power point, Excel)
