DENTAL RECEPTIONIST, WOLVERHAMPTON

We're looking for an Experienced Dental Receptionist to join this independent established NHS/Private practice in Wolverhampton

  • To start asap
  • This is an exciting opportunity is available to work on a Full or Part time basis
  • The practice will consider purely reception role but desirable to have a dual reception and dental nursing role.

This is a large, modern 6 surgery practice, fully computerised with SOE systems with digital x-rays and rotary endodontic system.

They offer a full range of NHS services along with private treatments ranging from Invisalign, Implants, Facial Aesthetics, Complex smile makeovers, oral surgical procedures and orthodontics.

The practice CQC passed last year with excellent feedback. Large Surgery Car Park


Job Role:

  • Impeccable reception manners and professional customer care is mandatory
  • First contact for patients, showing utmost respect and ensuring a smooth and positive patient journey.
  • Building patient confidence and faith in the practice and leaving a great impression.
  • Encouraging excellent patient reviews on Google and Friend & Family
  • Being eyes and ears of the practice, keeping an eye on day to day issues and resolving/communicating to appropriate individuals
  • Answering the phone, booking and amending appointments and making recalls
  • Maintaining full dentist list and managing diaries
  • Ensuring no patient debts generated
  • Updating patient records, ensuring accurate and up to date patient information on system
  • Informing patients on all services on offer
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and following GDPR regulations at all times
  • General reception housekeeping
  • Responsibly handling payments
- cash/card/cheque and accurate cashing up

  • Effectively communicating with other team members to maintain positive working relations
  • General administration tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, printing, shredding and sorting/filing/sending forms
  • Following practice policies and protocols at all times
  • Understanding, sharing and promoting business ethos
  • Desired skills and personal qualities
  • Knowledge of SOE system
  • Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Team working, Patience

Requirements:

A satisfactory DBS is required for this position.
