Engineering Manager

Northwest £45,000 - £50,000 D.O.E
Looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a Transport/Logistics company covering a number of sites in the Northwest. Reporting to Directors you will oversee the Safety, Reliability and Cost-effectiveness of the Engineering services and performance.
You will have a thorough understanding of H&S, Compliance and Environmental responsibilities. You will be flexible to travel around the Northwest area as required.

  • Senior Management experience
  • Strong Engineering background
  • Develop and lead Engineering teams
  • Control of Engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing.
  • Solid understanding of Health and Safety and HR requirements
  • Deliver agreed plans and budgets
  • Monitor Servicing, Inspection and MOT's
  • Commercial and Financial experience
  • Maintain and Develop relationships between different Business functions
  • Carry out recruitment, training, absence management, disciplinaries
  • Strong Reporting and Documentation skills
Any experience working within a unionised environment would be beneficial
