Navigating the position: Senior Release Manager

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Release Manager to lead our software release efforts, playing a crucial role in ensuring every launch hits the mark of our high-quality standards while surpassing customer expectations. This role offers the chance to drive the entire release process, from planning to execution, ensuring that our innovative solutions are delivered flawlessly to the market.

As a key member of our product management team, you'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to craft a seamless release strategy. Your Voyage Ahead:

• Managing Releases: Oversee the end-to-end release process, ensuring the delivery of fully tested, robust solutions.
• Documentation: Produce and maintain documentation in line with our process guidelines, governance models, and legal requirements.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to meet project and stakeholder needs.
• Release Calendar: Create, own, and maintain a detailed release calendar, ensuring visibility for stakeholders and business sponsors.
• Team Coordination: Organize and manage cross-functional teams to perform release deployment activities effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for the business, managing expectations and ensuring alignment between the release management team's efforts and business goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve the release process, aiming for greater efficiency and minimizing any impact on services.

Recommended to bring on board:

• Enterprise Software Experience: A solid foundation with at least 5+ years of experience in enterprise software organizations, showcasing a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges unique to large-scale software development.
• Agile Expertise: More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Agile release methodologies. Your Agile fluency will be instrumental in navigating the fast-paced nature of our release cycles, ensuring agility and responsiveness throughout our processes.
• Technical Proficiency: A robust technical background with a demonstrable understanding of software development processes. Your knowledge should encompass version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation tooling, enabling you to oversee and optimize our software release strategies effectively.
