My client is looking for a Compliance Officer to help support their rapid growth.

They are an innovative, exciting, and ambitious company and are going through a period of on-going growth and re-structure, and as such they are looking for a Compliance Officerto join a well-established, friendly and passionate team.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Completion of client's supplier forms across the business group
  • Policy creation, updates, reviews and conducting audits of those policies ensuring that the business & staff are complying with these
  • Annual process and policy reviews completing internal risk assessments and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with suggestions and recommendations for actions
  • GDPR/Data Protection & Data Security keeping on top of new rules and ensuring our compliance, updating policies accordingly and organising any training required for the staff
  • Responding to data information or deletion requests. Monitoring breeches and actioning any audit requests
  • Responsible for reviewing and arranging mandatory and statutory staff training including H&S, First Aiders
  • Process creation for compliance across the group
  • Assisting with contracting and compliance checking for apprenticeships contracts and renewals ensuring client policies and documentation are provided, checked and monitored for when they expire
  • Auditing & testing Business Continuity Policies
  • Assisting The Head of Apprenticeships with prepping for Ofsted inspections and ESFA visits


  • Quality assurance

  • Creating, organising and reviewing our Quality Provision across Apprenticeships, Open Courses, Inhouse & Trainers


  • ISO 90001 Renewals

  • Managing the compliance, monitoring and improvement activities
  • Assisting with Awarding Body audits
  • Assisting with onboarding of staff for reference requests, DBS checks and ensuring our Safer Recruitment Process is followed

Skills & Experience Required:


  • Commercially aware, handson, analytical, and logical
  • Good working knowledge of GDPR / Data Protection and legal requirements
  • Experience of completing supplier forms using online portals or editable PDF documents
  • Experience of creating and maintaining policy documents using a version control system
  • Good working knowledge of mandatory and statutory training required for businesses
  • Tech savvy and IT proficient
  • Must be able to use Word and Excel to a high level
  • Data / IT Security knowledge and understanding extremely advantageous
  • Experience of apprenticeship compliance extremely advantageous
  • Working at all times lawfully and in accordance with predefined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements, e.g. Data Protection, Health and Safety, Financial Conduct Authority Standards
  • Resilience & adaptability within an ever changing fast paced business
  • Thrives on challenges and working under pressure
  • Be comfortable to take on new challenges & projects
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make quick decisions under their realm of responsibility and authority
  • Confidence to present findings and recommendations to SLT for business improvements
  • Must be extremely organised, able to prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
  • Previous experience working with a training provider advantageous
  • Must have excellent written & verbal skills and confident with communicating with all levels of clients and stakeholders

Package

Salary:
£26,000 to £32,000 pa dependent on experience and qualifications


Bonus:
Annual bonus of up to 10% based on company profit and performance


Hours:
Full time (37.5 hours) based in Coventry - Hybrid working considered for the right person
