    This is a hybrid role, and we are flexible on your location, but there will be occasional travel required to our offices across the UK.

    How you'll change it up

    As the Head of Operational Planning, you'll lead all operational and business planning within the division, ensuring alignment and effectiveness. You'll drive cross-divisional alignment and stakeholder coordination, playing a pivotal role in shaping operational strategies and establishing credibility across diverse disciplines. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

    • Leading operational and business planning activities within the division
    • Managing changes to the Divisional Operating Model and coordinating with the PMO Operational Change team
    • Collaborating with cross-divisional teams to develop aligned plans
    • Addressing changes impacting build plans and implementing action plans
    • Providing thought leadership and facilitating divisional strategy development
    • Establishing credibility across divisions and influencing cross-divisional strategies

    What you'll bring to the role

    You'll have extensive experience in successfully leading efficiency and/or service improvement programmes in large complex organisations, as well as a track record of delivering tangible efficiency improvements through people, process, and systems. You'll also bring the following with you:

    • A relevant qualification, e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2, CIPS, MSP, Six Sigma, Agile Fundamentals
    • Proficiency in operational business strategies
    • Strong ability to question and challenge assumptions
    • Experience leading operational redesign and implementation programmes
    • Change management experience
    • Capacity to drive initiatives forward effectively
